ReBuild Hope NOW Campaign - The CBCF is a coalition member of the ReBuild Hope NOW Campaign, which is working to sustain a long-term disaster relief, recovery and rebuilding effort in the communities destroyed by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the Gulf Coast Region. CBCF is focused on voting rights protection for the displaced residents of New Orleans, Louisiana as the city’s municipal elections approach.

Protect the Katrina Vote - The NAACP Legal Defense Fund (LDF) is conducting a program to protect the voting rights of displaced New Orleanians. LDF will inform displaced residents about ways they can participate in their municipal elections. LDF is also working to improve and simplify election procedures.
