Founders' Day Awards Ceremony

The Founders' Day Awards Ceremony is an annual event that honors Congressional Black Caucus Members, their Spouses and staff, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation staff, Board members, and CBCF Alumni on a rotational basis. The event has been titled as such to commemorate the founding of the CBCF Leadership Network of Alumni in February 2000. The officers and members of the CBCF Leadership Network select honorees based on their service and contributions to the CBCF and its educational programs. This year's honorees include:

During the Founders Day Award program, the CBCF also recognizes and celebrates the achievements of its current class of Congressional Fellows. The 2005 Congressional Fellowship class includes:
