Her efforts in creating a safe space for individuals on FAMU’s campus have resulted in many successes, such as the University’s partnership with Callisto- an anonymous reporting tool for sexual assault. She has experiences meant to directly fuse to inspire and empower learning and development through STEM/STEAM education and career fields. Janelle is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Janelle specializes in combined creative development in building intuitive coding to prepare for STEM/STEAM competitions. Throughout this opportunity, volunteers also grow in leadership development experiences to educate the next generation of leaders. Throughout her free time, she enjoys writing spoken word and entertaining her hobby of collecting sneakers and sneaker art. Janelle embodies the mission of working hard, dreaming big, and no excuses, in hopes of inspiring future generations and those from her community.
