Scholarship Classic

Named in honor of the late Representative Stephanie Tubbs Jones of Ohio and her spouse, Mervyn L. Jones, the Scholarship Classic is a powerful golf tournament and networking event, back in-person for the first time since 2019.

National Racial Equity Initiative Summit

Our inaugural NREI Summit will provide a space to develop solution-driven and proactive policies and practices that produce equitable access, opportunities, treatment, and outcomes for African Americans.

Sojourner Truth Legacy Project Virtual Summit

This Sojourner Truth Legacy Project virtual presentation will highlight the amazing legacy, history, and continued work of Black women leaders who have dedicated their careers to eliminating systemic barriers and ensuring equity for all.

NREI’s Detroit Community Conversation

This Detroit community conversation will consist of a Social Justice Art & Activism Fair, Fireside Chat with Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence, and two-panel discussions: Understanding the Detroit Public Safety Historical Landscape and Where Do We Go From Here? Action Steps Towards Public Safety. During lunch, attendees will engage in dialogue to share experiences, strategies to address public safety, legislative needs, and community collaboration.
