NREI Community Conversation Tulsa

Join CBCF for a community-level dialogue between legislators, policymakers, activists, and community members to discuss the past, present, and future of Tulsa—the heart of Black Oklahoma.
On Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 10 am – 4 pm CT we will host our third Community Conversation entitled: Building Power in Black Tulsa: What It Means and How We Get There at Booker T. Washington High School.
This in-person event will include:
- an opening panel discussion on the state of Black Tulsa
- a fireside chat with Nicole Austin-Hillery, President and CEO of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation
- workshops on achieving economic security, community safety, and reparations.
- closing community conversation on how the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation can continue to work with and support the Tulsa community.
