Andrew Pierce II is a dedicated and accomplished professional from Columbus, Ohio with a passion for public policy and social justice. He earned a Joint Bachelor of Science in Public Policy Analysis and a Master’s in Public Administration with honors from The Ohio State University John Glenn College of Public Affairs in 2023. Throughout his college career, Andrew demonstrated a commitment to community service and leadership. He co-founded the nonprofit organization, The WORTH Foundation, where he taught high school civics, organized local communities, and established strategic partnerships to create impactful programming. As the President of Ohio State’s Undergraduate Student Government, he represented one of the largest student populations in the country and achieved numerous successes, including securing the largest student allocation for scholarships, implementing new strategic planning models, and initiating a campusto- airport shuttle service. With a wealth of professional experience, including at the United States Senate, Executive Office of the President, Democratic Governors Association, and more, Andrew has honed his skills in policy creation, strategic planning, and generating impact. He is a sought-after speaker and author, having shared his insights on topics ranging from educational equity, and multiracial democracy to racism, speaking and presenting at conferences hosted by organizations such as the Midwestern Political Science Association and Children’s Defense Fund. Andrew is a driven and influential individual, dedicated to making a positive impact on his community and public policy. His aspirations after the CBCF Fellowship include attending law school and continuing a career in public service.
