Kaylin Henderson is a dedicated and accomplished social policy professional, focusing on how to mitigate the processes which produce inequality at an institutional level. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Affairs with a minor in History at Wake Forest University. While at Wake Forest, Kaylin served as an undergraduate research fellow at the Race, Inequality, and Policy Initiative. In this role, she analyzed environmental data to uncover racial and socioeconomic disparities and presented her findings at a university wide conference. Following her undergraduate studies, she received her Master of Science in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a graduate fellow working on the intersections of racial and disability justice. Her areas of focus include policy analysis, quantitative reasoning, and the intersection of law, economics, and social policy, with specific interest in abolition and decolonization.

While at the University of Pennsylvania, Kaylin was a Graduate Fellow at the School of Social Policy and Practice, where she co-led initiatives to enhance disability awareness and inclusion within the university community. Her efforts in organizing workshops and building partnerships demonstrate her dedication to fostering supportive and inclusive environments.

Throughout both undergraduate and graduate school, Kaylin worked with members of the United States Congress to advocate for an end to racial discrimination in the South. As a Congressional intern, she contributed to legislative processes by researching immigration trends and supporting policy development, showcasing her ability to synthesize complex information and improve office efficiency.
